1. SCOPE

1.1 Scope. This specification covers one type of UHF Antenna, the AT-948/U, a vertically-polarized omni-

directional antenna having overhead coverage to fill in the cone of silence and operating over a frequency range of

400 through 550 megahertz (MHz) for shipboard and shore station applications.
